SAVE THE DATE!

We are getting married in Canet d’Adri, Girona on 11th July 2009 so please save the date! We hope you can be there to share this special day with us.

The plan is as follows:

▪ 9th / 10th: Arrival in Girona

▪ 10th: Pre-wedding evening get-together where you can eat at a reasonable price and meet other wedding guests

▪ 11th: The big day!!!



We will, of course, be sending out official invitations at a later date. In the meantime, we would really appreciate it if you could let us know as soon as possible whether you are able to come and what your plans are so we can help you make the most suitable bookings as soon as possible.


We are so excited about having all the people we love in the same place at the same time!

GUARDEU-VOS EL DIA!

Ens casem el dia 11 de juliol 2009! La cerimònia tindrà lloc a Canet d’Adri i el convit, al restaurant, Mas Marroch. Per tant, si us plau guardeu-vos el dia! Esperem que pugueu venir i compartir aquest dia tan especial amb nosaltres.

Encara que els preparatius són encara en l’etapa inicial, hem pensat que seria una bona idea d’enviar una pre-invitació perquè la gent pugui començar a organitzar-se! Evidentment, us enviarem la invitació oficial més endavant, però mentrestant ens aniria molt bé que ens diguéssiu si podreu venir.

Ens fa moltíssima il·lusió reunir a tota la gent que estimem al mateix lloc en un dia tan especial!

Flights

Ideally you should fly to Girona airport so Ryanair is probably the best option. They offer routes from Stansted, Luton, Gatwick, Prestwick and many other UK airports. Buses from Girona airport to Girona bus/train station run 30 mins past every hour and cost 2.05€ single and 3.90€ return. A taxi straight to your hotel in Girona will cost around 25€. Sharing is also an option if there is a group of guests on the same flight.
If it is impossible for you to get to Girona airport, Easyjet, Flyglobespan, British Airways and many other airlines also fly to Barcelona airport. You will then only be a 2-hour train journey away from Girona! Please, please reserve your flights as soon as possible since prices are likely to go up rather than down!

Accommodation

Please let us know by mid January if you would like us to help you make bookings at a discounted rate. Due to the Tour de France passing through Girona the same week as the wedding, booking hotels in high season is even more complicated than usual so the sooner we reserve, the better!
