Well, the wedding dream is all over now and we're living happily ever after! We want to thank everyone for coming and making it such an amazing day. Nothing can beat seeing all your loved ones together. We hope you all enjoyed it and I'm sorry if we made you cry! That wasn't the plan! I couldn't stop the happy tears from rolling down my cheeks (and ruining my make-up!). We had a perfect day!
Doncs el somni del casament ja s'ha acabat i ara estem vivint feliços i menjant anissos! Volem donar les gràcies a tothom per venir i fer-lo un dia tan impressionant. Res no supera veure totes les persones que estimes juntes. Esperem que us ho passéssiu molt bé i ens sap greu si us vam fer plorar! No era la intenció! No vaig poder evitar que les llàgrimes felices em rodolessin per les galtes (i que fessin malbé el maquillatge!). Vam passar un dia perfecte!
The ceilidh in Borgue was also fabulous! We were very lucky to be able to celebrate twice and with so many people. Again, thank you!
El ball escocès a Borgue també va ser meravellós! Vam tenir molta sort de poder celebrar-ho dues vegades i amb tanta gent. Un altre cop, gràcies!
The honeymoon was a dream! We thoroughly enjoyed our travels through France, England, Wales and Scotland. The Wickerman festival was also a great success. Then we continued on our journey and had the most incredible time in Africa. Tanzania hosted our fantastic safari and then we spent three gorgeous days in Zanzibar and finished off with two days of paradise on Pemba! Then we drove home via Belgium, Luxembourg and France. One month of wedded bliss!
La lluna de mel va ser un somni! Vam disfrutar molt i molt del nostre viatge per França, Anglaterra, Gales i Escòcia. El wickerman també va ser un gran èxit! Llavors, vam continuar el nostre viatge i vam passar uns dies increïbles a l'Àfrica. Tanzània ens va donar la benvinguda pel nostre fantàstic safari i després vam passar tres dies preciosos a Zanzíbar i dos dies al paradís de Pemba! Llavors vam tornar per Bèlgica, Luxembourg i França. Un mes de vida de casats perfecte!

WEDDING PLAYLIST
Music is our history! As many of you know, we first met in the Sunset Jazz Club, Girona back in 2004. Since then music has played a huge role in our relationship and we hope to reflect this on our wedding day. There will be something for every taste! We are currently compiling a carefully selected playlist for DJ Pere and we really want to see everybody up on that dance floor so please help us out and click on comments below the photo to add your favourites!
La música és la nostra història! Com molts de vosaltres ja sabeu, ens vam conèixer per primera vegada al Sunset Jazz Club, Girona al 2004. Des de llavors la música ha tingut un paper molt important en la nostra relació i esperem reflectir aquest fet al nostre casament. Hi haurà moments per tots els gustos! SAVE THE DATE!
We are getting married in Canet d’Adri, Girona on 11th July 2009 so please save the date! We hope you can be there to share this special day with us.

We will, of course, be sending out official invitations at a later date. In the meantime, we would really appreciate it if you could let us know as soon as possible whether you are able to come and what your plans are so we can help you make the most suitable bookings as soon as possible.
We are so excited about having all the people we love in the same place at the same time!
GUARDEU-VOS EL DIA!
Ens casem el dia 11 de juliol 2009! La cerimònia tindrà lloc a Canet d’Adri i el convit, al restaurant, Mas Marroch. Per tant, si us plau guardeu-vos el dia! Esperem que pugueu venir i compartir aquest dia tan especial amb nosaltres.
Encara que els preparatius són encara en l’etapa inicial, hem pensat que seria una bona idea d’enviar una pre-invitació perquè la gent pugui començar a organitzar-se! Evidentment, us enviarem la invitació oficial més endavant, però mentrestant ens aniria molt bé que ens diguéssiu si podreu venir.
Ens fa moltíssima il·lusió reunir a tota la gent que estimem al mateix lloc en un dia tan especial!
Flights
Ideally you should fly to Girona airport so Ryanair is probably the best option. They offer routes from Stansted, Luton, Gatwick, Prestwick and many other UK airports. Buses from Girona airport to Girona bus/train station run 30 mins past every hour and cost 2.05€ single and 3.90€ return. A taxi straight to your hotel in Girona will cost around 25€. Sharing is also an option if there is a group of guests on the same flight.
If it is impossible for you to get to Girona airport, Easyjet, Flyglobespan, British Airways and many other airlines also fly to Barcelona airport. You will then only be a 2-hour train journey away from Girona! Please, please reserve your flights as soon as possible since prices are likely to go up rather than down!

Please let us know by mid January if you would like us to help you make bookings at a discounted rate. Due to the Tour de France passing through Girona the same week as the wedding, booking hotels in high season is even more complicated than usual so the sooner we reserve, the better!
